The stay was quite enjoyable as we explored the historical center of Benavente, just a short walk away. The large room had an incredible modern bathroom, featuring two showerheads that made our stay comfortable. One highlight was the breakfast, where the variety made it hard to resist trying a little bit of everything. The attentive staff truly made the dining experience wonderful, taking time to explain each dish. However, it was a bit disappointing that the pool was closed during our visit.

Delightful dining in a historic castle
Staying here felt like a step back in time, surrounded by the stunning backdrop of a historic castle. The restaurant's dining experience was superb, especially with the attentive staff explaining each dish. The spacious room offered a lovely garden view, providing a serene atmosphere to unwind after exploring the quaint town.
While the stay was enjoyable, I found it disappointing that the pool was closed, limiting relaxation options after a long day. Additionally, parking can be tricky as spaces fill up quickly, despite convenient access right outside the hotel.

The Parador of Benavente offers a beautifully-maintained historic building with a superbly modern bathroom, featuring impressive twin rain head showers. Enjoyed the lovely pool area and the shaded terrace, perfect for relaxing with a drink. The spacious room allowed for comfortable stay with high-tech amenities and a great view of the surroundings. Breakfast options impressed with local specialties and a diverse buffet. On the downside, the pool does not open until noon, limiting early swims. Also, a bit of noise from neighboring rooms made it hard to relax at times. Still, the staff were professional and friendly, making the overall atmosphere inviting despite some minor distractions.

missingWrote a review on 19 Octrestaurant hours
The restaurant opens too late for dinner at 8:30 PM, leaving few options for a hot meal early in the evening, with only limited cold items available. Additionally, the pool area, while appealing, has restricted access—locked outside of designated hours and requiring guests to leave for lunch breaks. Road signage is also poor, making it tricky to find the place upon arrival.

Charming ambiance with a cozy vibe, exceptionally comfy room, and a lovely pool area to relax. The nearby bars and restaurants are just a short stroll away, allowing for a pleasant evening out.
However, it would have been better if restaurant opening hours were earlier to accommodate those who prefer dining sooner.

great accommodations but limited amenities
The setting is stunning, providing a historic context that beautifully complements the first-class accommodations. The staff demonstrated remarkable attention to detail, showcasing the meals with explanations that made each dish a delight. I particularly enjoyed the garden view, offering a serene escape just steps from the main areas of the hotel.
